You could ask for a $15 donation as you distribute them or if want to, you could just give them to friends and family.Īt this time, we have distributed enough coins to repay the $1172 investment we made and we are now in profit mode! So please HELP OUT with a few hours of your time when we pass around the sign-up sheet or by everyone purchasing a few coins at our meeting on August 20th. One way to start helping is for ALL of our members to purchase at least four of our challenge coins. If we are going to be able to provide aid to veteran families that come to us for help, fund scholarship programs, and meet requirements of our mission statements (The mission of the Marine Corps League is to promote the interest and to preserve traditions of the United States Marine Corps, strengthen the fraternity of Marines and their families, serve Marines and FMF Navy personnel who wear or have worn the Eagle, Globe and Anchor, and foster the ideals of Americanism and patriotic volunteerism) then we need to step up and give a few hours of our time when our Detachment is in need of your help. As you know, raising money to fund our projects seems to be an area that is difficult to get participation in.
